How can I edit the content of my web pages?
If you're using an HTML Design you'll need to edit the .html files to include your content. This can be done via programs like Frontpage and Dreamweaver or they can be edited using any text editor.
You'll need to unzip the files from the downloaded zip archive first.
There will be a file called preview.html which is a web page that can be opened with any browser. You will need to copy that file for each web page of content that you wish to create. Then open the files with any text or HTML editor and edit the content of the pages.
If you're using a Content Management System (CMS) like Wordpress, then the content of your site can be edited via a web interface and you probably won't need to learn HTML.
How do I upload the template to a web server?
For plain HTML pages, this is generally done with via File Transfer Protocol (FTP). You'll need to unzip the files from the downloaded zip archive before uploading using an FTP client.
If you're using Wordpress, then simply upload the theme via the admin pages. Wordpress uses zip archives to store themes, so you do not need to unzip them.
If you're using Joomla, then simply upload the theme via the admin pages. Joomla uses zip archives to store templates, so you do not need to unzip them.
Can the Wordpress themes be used for the free Wordpress.com sites?
No. Wordpress.com does not allow uploading of themes. They charge a fee for being able to use custom CSS to skin a site, but even that will not be usable with Cool Template themes.
You will need to have Wordpress on a traditional hosted server. This will also give you the benefit of being able to install Wordpress plugins.
Do the Cool Template designs support IE6?
No. Internet Explorer 6 usage is in the single digits and is declining rapidly.
